i mean i dont mind "allies" as in closeted ncns ppl but not cishet allies who expect a pat on the back for everything

yeah same and idk, it’s just like...putting allies as part of the main purpose of the center rubs me the wrong way? esp if they’re going to be too lazy to write out a longer acronym? it’s just that like... the “and allies” part is longer than the “LGBTQ+” part and ace/aro folks, pan folks, intersex folks are all just included under the + while allies get a special mention so they don’t get offended that a space is not for them

idk i’m probably overanalyzing it, it just rubbed me the wrong way and then one of the people who worked there kinda blew me off when i mentioned it and went on to talk about how great a term MOGAI is and basically didn’t let me get a word in :/

I guess I’m somewhat lucky in that the most impactful death in my life was my horse, Monte. He was basically my animal soul mate, and the reason I made it through high school alive.
