hey how goes development of that game y'all were working on?

Changeling Tale is just over a year into development, has 642 backers, and we just released build 0.3.21 to the public. Our 5th major content update. Each new build takes us about 2-3 months to complete and contains roughly 45-60 minutes of content.

The first chapter for all 3 of the starting romances, and the second chapter for Marion and Jessie are both released. It’s about 3-4 hours of content if you read it all and go through all 3 romance paths available, we’ve timed ourselves and other people playing it. We’ve passed 800 unique assets, nearly 300 pages of written text (novel length!) and 15 unique music tracks have been composed. There’s a total of 4~ tf sequences in the game, along with a ton of scenes, character sprites, and close-up (usually tf) frames.

The most recent chapter, Marion’s 2nd chapter, has been our most well received yet, and feedback overall has been almost entirely positive.

Currently in development is a features and fixes build we’re rolling out to fix a few bugs, add a few quality of life features, implement minor animation goals, and finish certain story and visual elements that didn’t make it into the Marion chapter 2 release deadline.

Next chapter up for development is Grace’s 2nd chapter, followed by what looks to be a sweep for a follow-up to Marion’s chapter 2 (people really liked Marion’s story).

Total story progress is still under 10% completed, it’s going to be a big game and we’ve got 11 possible planned romances (assuming the backer character goal is met).

The response to the game has been absolutely amazing and every new person we show it to always has great things to say about it.

A little too broad for my tastes as far as fetishes go, I’m more of an animal tf fan that dabbles in tg stuff, and lots of the other tf related stuff doesn’t interest me as much personally. Also prefer my games to be narrative driven, which those sort of games touch on but never delve in too far into because there are way too many variables to account for to write deep stuff (at least when I played them last). When you have to write a new paragraph for each variation of cock type/length/girth and remember all sorts of other variations it can really bog down the scope of an experience.
