3am thoughts be like

wouldn't it be cute if corvus' beloved and guilliman's wife were besties ? as corvus' partner , you tried to hate guilliwife . you're a rebel from a poor planet and the lavish atmosphere you found yourself in when meeting her was appalling .

yet somehow , she made you feel like you belonged there . she's easy to love and you can see why guilliman fell for her . she's charming and quick of wit , but stern when she needs to be . you've heard her mom voice on more than one occasion , and it's painfully cute how sweet guilliman is with her .

because of her , you look forward to your double dates and evenings spent drinking wine with the two primarchs . you aren't opposed to 1 on 1 time with her and write to her often . ( she started by writing you first )

bonus : corvus parrots a few of guilliman's relationship habits . i mean , they spent quite a bit of time together with guilliman as corvus' mentor . i feel like guilliman takes on the big brother role between them .

they're subtle , but corvus has some guillisms that i wanna explore . before i do , i really should spend more time with guilliman first though ..

finished reading Soul Hunter & i can’t wait for ya'lls asks/requests to reopen. i am craving some talos x reader content like crazy. he’s such a cool and complex character, total badass. i also like how he interacts with his serfs. particularly Septimus and Octavia. though imperfect, it’s different from what i’m used to. esp when Talos spoke open with Octavia about his past. he lets her be grumpy toward him, which really shocked me.

reading these books has also reawakened my Sevatar hyperfixation. ahhhh !!!! i need more of him and talos ;w;

any Variel fans out there …? HI! i think he’s neat & would love to hear your thoughts on him/fics you might have.

i gotta ask, did anyone else get attached to Septimus & Octavia when reading these books? cause i totally am. Septimus is easy to like, i adore his banter and relationship with Octavia. i wanna smooch them both! or trauma bond together, that would be fine too. gosh, i’m worried for them ;w;

book got a laugh out of me when Talos walked in on them smexing. dude was legit just like : stop that. what an ass, lol. i was waiting for him to pull out a spray bottle.

OH!! & i am still reading Path of the Renegade. reading multiple books at a time is probably a bad idea since i’m so busy, but fuck it we ball. both books are giving me brainrot and an inkling to explore them more indepth. or dig around for fancontent until i’m satisfied. ( which never happens cause i always want more * sobbbb )

is it wrong that my comfort reading involves Night Lords & Drukhari? probably. maybe. idk, don’t answer that. too much to unpack right now.

i'm making it sound way more pleasant than it would actually be , ksksk . eyes , eyes , always on me . i see them & they see me . spooky , right ?

i both loved and hated El'Uriaq ( / not El'Uriaq ). that last supper, oh my goodness. fantastic stuff. i'm hooked, the drukhari & their lore is addicting. i really enjoyed the fae references, especially in El'Uriaq's domain.

ngl, it was cathartic to watch Kraillach & Xelian fall. every minute of Nyos' anxiety toward the end was icing on the cake for me. i enjoyed all three characters, don't get me wrong, but there was a poetry in their fall.

ALSO !!! i just started Path of the Incubus. ya'll told me i'd like Motley, but no one told me about his grumpy cat bestie Morr !!! i love this duo so much. & i wasn't expecting to see this much Motley after his brief appearances in Path of the Renegade. very happy rn.

i wonder if Nyos survived? guess i'll read to find out !! ♡ i hope so.

i feel bad for shang . he had the potential to be one of the more empathetic night lords and it stings how sevatar's words ring true .

shang tried to save nostramo , he tried to care for his father , his legion , and he tried to pick up the broken pieces he was left at the end of it all . only for none of it to have mattered . he was an afterthought in the grand scheme of things and little of him is mentioned in the text .

his duel and death in the painted count was so anticlimactic . it was a glorious moment for skraivok , but shang .. poor shang . man really got the shite end of the stick .

i have a lot of thoughts on skraivok . don't get me wrong , i love this little trash fire of a man , but WOW . this post isn't about him . i might make a second one ranting about skraivok lol . ( a loving rant , because he's hilarious )

also , in the night haunter ..

i can't shake the mental image of curze , shang and sevatar huddled around a little TV watching bad quality security footage of menial murders , trying to figure out who done it . all while a cauldron of claws , talons and kyroptera bicker behind them .

reading pharos , i just got to sanguinius & curze's meeting in the throne room . they've got me craving a planet swap AU . or maybe i just want a nostraman sanguinius . give me the dark angel , he who thirsts ! i want this man feral and sadistic ; prowling around like the perfect predator he is . would he lure you in with a smile , or bare his fangs right away ? either way , i'm in .

Road to 100

i'm getting really close to 100 followers ! i never thought i would have this many people interested in my blog and i adore you all immensely . i wasn't sure what to expect when i first started to explore the fandom . i kinda just wanted to share mine and hubby's silly sanguinius x mercy fanart , maybe drop a few reviews of the books i was reading . then i found the x reader side of the fandom and instantly fell in love .

i'm a very anxious person and normally don't interact in fandom spaces , so it means a lot to me that the tumblr warhammer community has been extremely kind and welcoming toward me .

you all pulled me out of a pretty rough spot . thank you for embracing my freak .
