Taking out my #planetary #imaging rig for a spin! It's a 150mm, f12 Maksutov-Cassegrain mounted on a motorized Alt-Az mount. After a lot of rain today, the sky cleared up and the gas giants #Jupiter and #Saturn became visible towards the south. I just recently added a Feather Touch focuser for my Lunt 50, and it was a worthwhile upgrade. The stock focuser was ok for visual, but suffered from image shift when focusing an image. Just finished for tonight! About 5 hours done for my current capture, an image of the surroundings of the star #Sadr. I maybe will continue accumulating photons, depending on how severe the Sahara dust is during the coming days.
