Let's Talk Saturn♄!!!

Wherever you are in your astrological journey, you've most likely ran into the harsh, daunting, and domineering descriptions of Saturn. While you should maintain these ideas/themes, I do want to emphasize how extraordinary this planet really is, and can be, from each house/sign placement.

Think of Saturn as the amalgamation of "order". It is what makes things concrete; real. For instance, Frankenstein's monster needed a spark of life (Sun/Mars/Uranus), but without the body (Saturn) it would have been impossible to try and conjure up "life" w/o the vessel. Saturn is the manual, the bikes' pedals, the swimmers' pool. It gives us purpose. Saturn brings solemnity to each of our lives, which benefits the energies throughout the entire chart (natal, progressed, composite, etc.)

So, while it is still the teacher/our karma, it is also the reason for tangible manifestation. However, for it to really work for you, you have to work at it.

• Saturn in Aries or (the 1st): Lesson: Patience. To establish the energy/life force that you'll emit - one that can work and is unique to you. Gift: True grit. Moxie. Naturally acclimating the energy that's most needed for you in all your endeavors; blocking out negative and or unnecessary energies.

• Saturn in Taurus or (the 2nd): Lesson: Working with what you are given; appreciation for who you already are and what you already have. Gift: Humility and resilience. Grace in even the most difficult of circumstances, good material instincts/investments, and an enduring inner security. Plus, this is a "good taste" placement.

• Saturn in Gemini or (the 3rd): Lesson: Deciphering the more beneficial priorities in your life from the more "distracting" ones. Also, not using ignorance as a crutch. • Saturn in Libra or (the 7th): Lesson: Restoring balance where you see fit. Understanding that your karma is deeply embedded in your intimate associations. Understanding that we teach people how to treat us. Gift: The right company. Trusting your judgement. Loyalty.

• Saturn in Scorpio or (the 8th): Lesson: Holding yourself accountable. Recognizing the significance of authority in its many forms. Gift: Actual power, not just perceived. Exercising control within in turn gives you more freedom from its restraint. Finally being taken seriously.

• Saturn in Sagittarius or (the 9th): Lesson: Stay the course. Wander, but have something to show for it in the end. Take your time, really study your material... there's a lot. A very wise placement, however, somethings we all must do by the book. Gift: True enlightenment. A weight lifted. A breath of fresh air. Boisterous laughter. You did it. Now, go brag about it!

• Saturn in Capricorn or (the 10th): Lesson: Your life will be colored in Saturn's opaque hues, at first. Clockwork. Routine. Aspirations. Trust it. Gift: In time, when you've fixated and concentrated on it enough, it'll become much clearer. You'll be able to appreciate the masterpiece of life Saturn has given you. • Saturn in Pisces or (the 12th): Lesson: Trust in the universe. Don't get too caught up in others philosophies. Don't be discouraged, you are a light. Find what works for you.
