The undergrad is, bottom of the heavens
Foundation, roots, parents, inheritance, patrimony
One’s home, household goods, the house someone’s born
Property, lands, estate
Secret things, private, hidden— because it’s opposite the most public house
Old age, end of life, death & funerals
Children, what the marriage parter does or produces
5th house
Good fortune house, the joy of Venus
Children, material fortunes, personal wealth
Natives advancement (wealth)
Negatively can show loss of personal assets through misfortune
Declinations Connected to the 5th bring Eminence, honor & power
Any act of good —freeing slaves, generosity, friendship
6th house
Bad fortune —joy of mars
Injuries, suffering, sickness- more related to the physical than mental
Four footed animals, enemies, plots, insurrection
Travel given negative connotations here, things like banishment
Occupation
Oppression, subordination, wasting, dissipation, unlucky, low-born & crippled
7th house
Marriage, marriage partner, sexual union
Different stages in life -it would should old age
Some association with death- the sun and other planets disappear from view each day
Connected with hidden parts of the body because of planets being concealed in this house daily
Malefic here bring injuries, dangers, violent death because it’s opposite the self house
Benefits bring inheritance, property from others, benefits from death— to be used with the eight house, there is a debate over which house is for death
8th house
The idle place
Secondary things that are connected with death, inheritance
Livelihood of the marriage partner
Notions of idleness, laziness, weakness, inactivity & squandering
Punishment or justice
9th house
Place of god
Travel, journeys, foreign lands, foreigners
Religion, piousness, righteousness, philosophers
Malefic cause disspoilers of temples, impious, blasphemers
Divination, mystical, or occult matters,oracular decrees, astrology, astronomy & prophets
Authority, kings and sovereigns
Authority is 10th but this is saying that authority should rule in the third houses and the ninth- which I’m sure you can see why that would be a good thing
