I feel so ashamed to be British. The older generation have completely screwed us over. And you're right, old white people. I voted to remain because I wanted our country to be open to people that come here for a better life. Why do I deserve so much privilege because I'm white? Why can I go places without facing prejudice? It's a mess. We're a completely screwed. There's a petition to have a second referendum so I'm praying it goes through.

god, i’m so sorry. it’s genuinely so terrifying, what the UK has decided and the underlying xenophobic sentiment that just let it happen. the ramifications for this are literally catastrophic, and it’s basically happened because racist white people are scared of migrants lmao. i can’t even believe. 

no, actually. i can. it’s so eerie to watch this shit unfold, to see xenophobia be so thoroughly underestimated across the pond, when the US is going to have to make a decision just like this in a couple of months. it’s so horrifying, lmao. like there’s no other way to put it; it’s just scary to have seen it succeed. it’s awful.

but i’m terribly sorry for you and the 75% of under 25s who voted to remain who are literally going to suffer because of the colonialist nostalgia and implicit racism of their parent generations. jesus, i really hope there’s a way out of this. i really hope they can do a second referendum.
