A helluva day trek that began with a 0145a alarm, three hour drive up a thousand metres, and then hiking up from 4,236 metres (14,189 ft) to approx 5,200 metres (17,060 ft). #Vinicunca - Mountain of Seven Colors in Quechua or Rainbow Mountain - was only recently “discovered,” thanks to global warming.
