Me at last opening my third eye: Atem is a cat AND big dog person. Kaiba cures his own allergies just to make it through the week
I really do like the idea of Atem being an artist..
different mediums for sure, but especially the image of him like…. up late with the rain and a mug of tea and his fingers stained in pencil because the newest duel monster release art really hit his aesthetic, or early in the morning outside next to the cat in its playpen in his little garden with paint flecked and smeared all over his hands and face crafting a loving portrait of his favorite patch of lilacs…. it just seems right

New headcanon! Ancient Egyptians used henna to paint their nails red. (Well, red was reserved for the aristocracy at least.) Nail polish as we know it wasn't invented til the 30s/40s. When Atem sees all the reds we have today he goes nuts :)

Honestly, just imagining Atem typing in ‘red nail polish’ into Amazon already excited at the thought of getting a couple results to pick from and getting THIS instead is.... giving me so much joy
I just realized how uncanny @sombreset‘s response was kajlkflskdfjlsdfk alina baraz’s stuff (esp with galimatias) is exactly what I headcanon most of atem’s library sounding like
alkjdflksjdf all those words in that post and I just realized I can summarize with: Atem can express his feelings in general, but not his Self-First Feelings.
Atem’s not used to even having the opportunity to put himself first, so he’s completely lacking in training for it, and for awhile wouldn’t really feel like he has the right to even when he finally does.
