"Do you think the ginger cat will be there?" Arlys asks hopefully, but despite his excitement his voice was quiet - "Ssh, let your mother sleep for a little longer, yes?" Wyll had said, and Arlys took that to heart. Wyll smiles, "Maybe. We can visit the fisherman near the river and try to lure the cat with some fish." Arlys brightens up, a twinkle in his eyes as excitement takes over, "Yes, O'su, and maybe we can visit the market for some biscuits, and-" the young boy's speech becomes a mix of common and elven, a trait he'd picked up from his mother, as his voice grows louder and louder. "Shh," Wyll gently scolds, smiling and Arlys immediately quiets down, a blush tinting his cheeks. Unbeknownst to them, they didn't have to worry about being loud, as Tara had been awake ever since they left the house. She watches as they walk down the path to the village and a sense of peace washes over her. For the first time in a long time, she feels safe. And maybe, she feels like this is her happy ending.

I got the chance to work with the insanely talented @ziorre again and I couldn't be more grateful. As always, I can ramble on about my ideas and Ziorre will read my mind and paint exactly what I had in mind. This is based on a very old idea I had, and I'm so glad I went to Ziorre again because I knew she'd nail this idea.
