#my pets #atlas the ball python #athena the ball python #athena being extra as usual tonight #she once again grabbed the rat with enough force that i heard the bones break #thena hun they're dead already you dont need to obliterate them #poor atlas missed four strikes before he managed to grab his #his neurological issues where super bad tonight #he kept holding his head upside down and so he missed his strikes #i know its just a part of him having those spider markings but poor guy #he struggles so much and there's npt much of anythin you can do for his little scrambled brain

ive been considering that maybe, it might be in Athena's best interest to find her a new owner :/ it makes me super sad bc i love my lil snake so much but. she was super neglected by her previous owner and her growth was horribly stunted. even having owned her for a couple years now her sheds arent great and she's so small for an adult female ball python. i think what she deserves is someone who is able to afford to really devote all of their time to rehabilitating her and with most of my money going to my own medical bills, i just cant do that. i dont know if its definitely what we'll do, ive got to have a serious talk w my gf about it and idk how i'd even go about finding a new owner for her that lives close enough that we can move her. but yeah, ive been thinking about it a lot lately
