The redheaded Titan stared at his scattered reflection in the moving water of a fountain as dull music played. He was beyond bored. Eros was no stranger to opulent palaces and was usually quite flattered when people showed a covetous interest in him. But he was an Eternal, and therefore even without intense training he was quite strong, and he was an empath, and those who wanted his powers were vulnerable to them, and didn't think about how far they could go. So he was caught off guard and now he was stuck here. It wasn't like the accommodations weren't nice. But a gilded cage was still a cage, and this six-foot-one, 190-pound muscle-bound bird wanted out.
These people were magic users. They'd managed to trick him with a handshake, slicing the tip of his finger. Before it healed they got the drop of blood they needed to cast whatever spell they had developed for him, and he could no longer float the inch or so off the ground he often did. The cosmic energy throughout his body felt like it was being leached, funneled; it wasn't mind control, but was rather control over his pleasure powers specifically, like he was some kind of . . . toy.
He hated it when this happened.
And to top it off, the people who had taken him were leaders of an army. Without his normal Eternal physique and without control over his powers he didn't stand a chance and he didn't know who did.
Just then the music got his attention. He stood up and went to the source - a radio?
Yes. Eros immediately set about dissembling it, seeing what it was made out of and jury-rigging it to send instead of receive.
The only thing was that he wouldn't be able to change the frequency, so his message would land where it landed.
"Pardon the interruption," the voice would politely say in any radio tuned in to its frequency. "I am a civilian being held in the central palace of Duthos City on Latturnus five. Does anyone have a moment to give me a hand?"
