Was anyone going to tell me that the voice actress for Asami in LOK was also Princess Yue in ATLA live-action, or was I just supposed to read that on Seychelle Gabriel’s wikipedia page myself?
for posterity and in loving tribute
here’s @marcusantonius simply vibing while watching/finishing legend of korra
Thought I'd share on here anyways im one season 4 I cant wait for her to get with Asami follow me on tiktok if you want @ dramatic.bunni
ok wow, it’s been a while, I grew up and went through a lot since I was last here. With avatar on netflix i fell back in love with this show and have started to get back out of my depression slump. Here I am again ready to be an avatar stan once again !! missed you all <3
Speaking of Avatar and AM: Dimitri: I know what you’re going to say, she’s my sister and I should try to get along with her. Byleth: No! She’s crazy and she needs to go down! Can I also say Azusa is a character with a lot of similar traits to Edelgard but was done infinitely better and I love her so much?
(Cont.) Kuvira too, in other ways.
Well yes because in both of those cases the show didn't try to make excuses for Azula or Kuvira's actions. Unlike CF trying to go "see she likes sweets and wuves you please like her and ignore the genocidal intentions under the bed".
The issue with Edelgard is the developers fell in love with their own creation. The creators of Avatar even if they really liked Azula or Kuvira, they didn't compromise their creative integrity by trying to force the story to justify them. I mean even Zuko who does get a redemption arc isn't completely justified in everything he ever did and he's got to earn the trust of the Gaang.
So long story short Avatar was dealt with by better writers that Three Houses was.
i love the atla resurgence going on but is nobody gonna talk about how atla on netflix is absolutely like. NOT high definition at all.
