AIR-BENDERS ROMAN AND REMUS, which are free and with their head above the clouds, they’ve grown around laughs and stories, and they may not seem like your usual air-benders, but, they both know when things get serious (and try to avoid them) (also, I know they’re both the characters that have canonically fought or used violence, but- yeah, there’s no but)

aw hell yeah that’d be pretty cool! tho if we want to get into discussion territory i’d say that i feel like with them being creativity, air would be one of the elements where they can’t make anything. if we’re bending (hah) away from their quote unquote “canon” alignments” i’d say water or maybe even just nonbenders who are innovative like the inventor from the northern air temple or hiroshi sato were

Earth bender Virgil who doesn’t like change, is stubborn and, he may not act like it, but he knows what he wants (protect Thomas) and does whatever he can to make it happen (kinda reminds me of a wayyy more anxious Toph- might be the sarcasm tho)

oh yeah that’d work too!!! i adore virgil in the water tribe but earth boy?? my element?? me??? he’d like find the unchanging, steady ways of the earth to be comforting because those mountains have stood for tens of thousands of years and will continue to stand for thousands more no matter what gets thrown at them ozai aside

Deceit is hard, but, I guess Water bender too? Water flows and moves and adapts, and although he gets frustrated when things don’t go his way, it kind of reminds me of it

i love that!!!! with its part to play in weathering and erosion, i’d say water’s a p manipulative element too if you want it to play into dee’s ethos

I can easily see Patton as an air bender, but, think about him being a water bender. Water benders are heavily linked to family and tradition, plus he was the first to accept Virgil showing he can adapt to new circumstance- something water benders excel at
