A hc specifically for the fourth of July as it’s the day of fireworks(🫩)

Yotaro hates fireworks.

Not because they’re bright or loud, not specifically, or because he’s had any bad experiences with them. But because he can talk to animals, and the animal’s whisper of the explosions in the sky that startle and disturb them, causing them endless panic and suffering.

So Yotaro’s disliked them before he even had the chance to be amazed by the exploding colors, or whatever else draws people in.

Tamakoma took fireworks as a fun activity to go watch or partake in themselves if the occasion called for it. They are, after all, a normal celebratory thing. That changed once Yotaro was a toddler and displayed his opposition to them, very, very loudly. It took them a while to figure out that it’s because of his SE, mainly because Yotaro was terrible at explaining.

Once Yotaro expressed his dislike for them, and his reasons why, Tamakoma stopped doing their own fireworks. Even without the effect on the animals, the fact that it distressed their kid was more than enough to get them to quit the practice.

Yuma and Hyuse ALSO don’t like fireworks, because they’re child soldiers and learning that there is no threat doesn’t exactly quell instinctive reactions built by years of warfare.

Tamakoma is in complete agreement to just not do fireworks, no matter the occasion.

This is a very small thing but fireworks have started and I’m being forced to participate in them later on. I have a particular distaste for them, what with the environmental harm and effect on both people and animals. That distaste and the fact that world trigger has rotted my brain led to this and I figured I’d share it.

Writing Is Hard

So i just finished my first chapter And holy shit that sucked, and the only thing that got me through it was my little writing journal that I just yap in. I totally recommend this to people, I even manged to find a way of brainstorming that helps my chapter progression!!! this shits fire!!!
