yeah, i see what you mean by that. like we have hallmates that have made comments about the noise and they follow her. and like that's why i don't go out in the hall with my laptop anymore, because they complained about it. but idk, i'm just not worried about replacing my laptop anymore. so long as it keeps working and survives the rest of this semester, i'm not too bothered. and if she gets annoyed by that, she can tell me or deal with it at this point. sigh. thanks, though! <3

well, i'm gonna start off by saying i'm probably no better by going to tumblr, but if things are still bad in the morning, i'll probably end up talking to her about it.

and even just replacing anything is hard on our budget. like i bought a new keyboard recently because the keys were sticking and i basically had to slam it to get a majority of them to work. and there's six of us - one is a hardcore athlete, i'm going to college, and with the way verizon does the phone plans, we need a data plan attached to our contract, which is fucking expensive on its own.  and my dad is expecting to get a new job soon - either in the next month or by the end of the semester, so we don't really want to pay for replacements if i'm getting it switched out soon since it wouldn't pay for itself at that point, like buying a new charger at the beginning of the year has.

i don't know; the past year has just been shit on our finances and college hasn't helped and i'm not even upset about my laptop at this point because i'm living with it, trying to make the best out of it. i'm just upset that she didn't think she could outright talk to me about it.
