Follow on from yesterday's. Mer have huge difficulty readjusting to human life after they leave rehabilitation centres. They get used to the size of the tanks and suddenly the ocean seems a huge and dangerous place as soon as they leave the facility.

Inspired by Henry in the Dark. Henry found a culture of bioluminescent plankton and ate it. He did not account for it making him glow, nor did anyone else expect it to make him glow.

Horror ensues. Henry is too amused at everyone else to panic about the fact that he temporarily glows.

Humans in this universe cause as much harm to the mer as they save them from. Dedicated facilities exist to rehabilitate Mer after being involved in accidents.

Henry here has been unluckily hit by a boat rudder, and is currently recovering inside a rescue facility. Henry has never seen another human up this close, and is confused by these creatures who look just like him.

Victor and Kevin are based on a Rascacio. Victor would be a doctor of some sorts in this AU, but I feel like he'd still have a strong interest in mechanics and investigate any human machinery that he'd find.

I didn't like the official prompt for today, so I used the one from @ashleyrowanthewriter . All the prompts on that list are really good, and I'll be using them as swap outs for some future ones.
