Baton Rouge record shop will double its size in renovation project
Baton Rouge, Louisiana As business booms for Mid City record shop owner Kerry Beary, Atomic Pop Shop will have the chance to expand to nearly double the size of its 1,500 square-foot space.
Part of the city's Model Block project intended to redevelop the 2900 block of Government St., Beary's store along with at least five other buildings on the block, will receive upgrades that include a new paint job, signage, new facades and landscaping.
