Hello! I know you're getting a ton of bug asks right now, so no worries if you decide to give this one a pass. I was wondering— where did you get your waxworms/ how do you keep them? (Same for mealworms, actually.) I've found that cricket products are a lot easier to find from reliable sources than the other two (I'm in the US, for reference; I'm not sure where you are, so I know sources might be different.)

I buy my mealworms usually from Entomo Farms! They’re precooked when they get to me. I just... get my waxworms from Petco and feed them out for a while before I process them.

god if that isn’t the mood!!!! i can’t help but recoil from the idealization of softness because i’ve seen (particularly women’s) blogs treated like free therapy offices because they’re perceived to be this particular kind of soft and i do Not have the emotional resources to deal with that
