Caress - do you like to snuggle? I’m very tactile and I love snuggles!  I’m very physically affectionate and I adore the feel and smell of someone’s skin against mine, the safety and warmth of being wrapped up in another person… mmm… Yes, I do like to snuggle! 

Dimples - most attractive features of a person’s face? Answered this one here. 

Shampoo - favorite scent? Oooh, tough one!  For things like candles and body wash and such, I like a simple, lightly spiced vanilla.  Nothing too heavy and nothing too citrusy. 

But I also love the smell of spicy tomato sauces simmering, fresh cut grass, lilacs in bloom, newborn babies, and my Gram’s house.  Although the last is fading quickly and I’m afraid this weekend is probably the last time I’ll get to experience it. 

Aphrodite - favorite actress/actor? I’m not sure I really have either.  I don’t really care much about celebrities.  I do enjoy Nathan Fillion quite a bit, so I guess that’s my answer. 

Plush - how many stuffed animals do you still own? Um…  a few…? I have Pretty Baby, my babydoll from when I was a little girl, and about half a dozen more current stuffies.  

I adore stuffed animals and regularly have to remind myself that I have no practical need for them and Do. Not. Buy. Them.  But every now and again one finds it’s way home with me anyway.

Hey, thank you so much for the asks, @xena-styles! 

12: dimples - most attractive features of a person’s face? I love eyes because they’re all so beautiful and expressive, but I think it’s really the details that draw me in the most; a curve of the lips, a beauty mark, the way the skin crinkles just so around the eyes… those little details are where the real attraction is. 

20: velvet - who was your first crush? 

Usually I would say it was Robin Hood, but the truth is… it was both of them.  I remember very clearly my Mom telling me I had to choose because you couldn’t like more than one boy at a time (no worries about being into a cartoon character or an animal though…). 

I still love those saucy devils.  And really, my tastes haven’t changed all that much, except now I like Maid Marion, too.  

35: watermelon - do films ever make you cry?  All my emotions are tied to my tear ducts, so yes, absolutely.  Movies, commercials, songs, all sorts of things make me cry. 

40: sunset - what are your pronouns? My pronouns are she/her, however I have no issue with they/them if it’s easier.

Good morning. Dimples, Sunkissed and paper please.

Good morning to you, too!  What a great set of asks!  

Dimples: most attractive features of a person’s face?  Hmmm… this is a tough one because faces are so much more than the sum of their parts.  I love eyes for their incredible colors and ability to convey emotion.  

But I think it’s mostly the details; a tiny scar, the curve of a specific set of lips, the way they move their mouth and scrunch up their forehead when they’re deep in thought.  Each face is different, but the details are the best part. 

Sunkissed: autumn or spring?  Autumn, for a couple reasons.  Obviously Halloween (it’s always Halloween in my heart), the crunch of leaves beneath my feet and the brisk air that just begs for a big, warm sweater.  

But more than that, I love Autumn because it reminds me that even something as timeless and solid as the Earth needs to rest and that’s completely okay. It reminds me that I need to drop my leaves and allow parts of myself to go dormant sometimes, to truly rest and heal so that I can grow and change. 

Paper: favorite children’s book?  Oh, gosh… I love all the books!!  How about top 3?   Owl Babies by Martin Waddell, Runaway Bunny by Margaret Wise Brown, and Love You Forever by Robert Munsch (I cry literally every time I read this). 

I am a firm believer in the idea that you can never start too early or read too much to children, so my kids grew up with books around them all the time.  We read everything from Little Golden Book classics to things like Goodnight Goon. We read when we woke up, while we waited at the doctor’s office, before bed, and as they got old enough to hold the books on their own, each kid had a basket or bag of their special books.  

And while the kids have mostly outgrown those sweet little cardboard books, they’ve remained voracious readers and are frequently found with their noses in books (there’s a nearly 17 year old sprawled on the loveseat right now, reading a Steven King novel).
