I’ve been absent from the Marauders fandom for 2 years… why is Sirius sunndely a twink

Kilby Girl by The Backseat Lovers but it’s Wolfstar in an au in which they meet once every summer because Regulus has chess tournaments or something where Remus lives, so they spend their summer days going out and about together and Remus is so insanely in love (not knowing it yet) that he reads as much as he can about Sirius but finds nothing because he’s a Wizarding family kid.

So then he starts hearing rumours from the other kids at St. Eddie’s and there we go. Meanwhile, Sirius is hella confused about Remus; where his parents are, why he’s got his head shaved, why he’s covered in scars. And, eventually, when he starts acting weird, he’s confused why the fuck this guy keeps padding over with little wildflowers to gift him when they go out. He, eventually, gets used to it and admits to himself and only to himself that he never hated it.

Sirius teaches Remus how to press flowers and he begs Matron for a book so he can do it. She gives him an old cookbook and he thinks of Sirius and the creek, not knowing Sirius is doing the same thing.

So Remus “overheard that (he was 19) he was rich, with a (fake ID and a nose ring) family worth millions, and those kinds (girls) guys tend to know things better than I do.”

And Sirius is “dying to figure out what (s)he’s hiding, (s)he’s playing it cool and (s)he’s lying, better than I do.”

And then Hogwarts happens and Remus gets a little sad because Regulus has been removed from his chess class because he is awful at chess and claimed it was too easy. Remus missed Sirius but when they learn to apparate, whenever Sirius’ parents are busy or ignoring him, he just apparates near the creek and, lets out this insane wolf-whistle, letting Remus know (don’t ask me how it works. It just does.)
