Genie of Nature

Next up in my Genie AU is Amy! I finally came up with a decent design for her which I like. Please enjoy!

Amy is a genie, like Sonic, only her wishes relate to nature. Wishes such as bringing forth a certain plant, speeding up the growth of a plant or lengthening the life of nature itself can be fulfilled.

Like her other counterparts, Amy is a big fan of Sonic. Being able to cast wishes alongside him makes her life feel complete. Her biggest dream, though, is to live amongst nature instead of inside her bottle. Like most of the other genies, she wishes to be free.

GenieAU - Possible Amy Design?

So here’s a possible design for my GenieAU of Amy Rose. It’s possible because I’m sure this will not be the final design.

One thing I know I’m going to keep are the shoes. I like ‘em like that. I also want to keep the curled eyelashes and the front curled quills. Aside from those things, I’m not sure about the rest of the design.

I wanna hear from you. What do you want to see in this design? Any responses are appreciated and I’m sure all suggestions will improve the design overall. Your ideas will probably be better that mine anyway.

Just Some GenieAU!Sonic Sketches

1. Full body of Sonic casually leaning against something. In this sketch you can see his shoes.

2. Sketch of Sonic's shoes. They have the same colour scheme as usual apart from the arrow which is cyan. Notice the absence of golden shoe buckles. They are also high platform trainer type shoes.

3. Sonic is hit by the Flame of Judgement and is now cursed. This is how he became cursed in the first place. As to WHO cursed him ... you'll have to wait for that revelation.

4. The Flame of Judgement close-up. It curls at the end and is rather hot. It cannot be extinguished by the cursed person or by water; the only one who can remove it is the curser. This Flame of Judgement will only go out if Sonic fulfils too many wishes at one given time.

5. Sonic's genie bottle. It is a dark navy blue with light grey swirls to represent his affliation to the wind. It rests upon a bronze stand with the feet having a white stripe to link to his sneakers. It has a unique stopper which is explained below.

6. The stopper for Sonic's genie bottle. The top part is the medal symbol whilst the middle part is a golden buckle. It has a little keychain shaped just like its owner’s head. The stopper cannot be used to seal any other bottle, even Sonic's genie friend's bottles.

7. Sonic is about to fulfil a wish. His magic is cyan coloured. Remember, Sonic  can only fulfil wishes that are speed-related.

8. Inside the genie bottle is a nice comfy couch for Sonic to relax or sleep on. It's also the place he goes to when exhaustion kicks in thanks to his curse.

Genie of Speed

So, meet Sonic as a genie! I changed his shoes up a bit, dyed the tips of his quills cyan and white, gave him lots of gold jewellery and a light blue scarf. ‘Cause let’s face it; I can’t seem to design any AU!Sonic any more without some sort of scarf. (Thank you Sonic Boom XD)

So, in this universe, all the main characters are genies, so they get magic powers and all that. The only twist is that they can only grant wishes that correspond with their title. 

In this case, as Sonic is the Genie of Speed he can only grant wishes that relate to speed. Examples include running fast or slow, predicting the speed of something or even seeing the maximum speed limit of something.

Also, yes, Sonic does have the Flame of Judgement on him as a nod to ‘Sonic and the Secret Rings’. Like the game it is a curse put upon him, but it was inflicted to hamper Sonic’s hero-like abilities. Unlike the other genies he can only grant a certain number of wishes before he becomes exhausted. When this happens he cannot use his powers and the only safe place for him is his bottle. Sonic’s dream is to remove the Flame of Judgement, be freed from being a genie and become a normal free spirit once more.
