[Headcanon] Origin AU

My Garnet isn't from the canon version of the game, though she is very similar. Her trials were the same, and she grew, but her attraction to Zidane didn't happen the same way.

She certainly cares for him, and trusts him with her life, but it isn't romantic love.

Even without that though, she still hopes that he survived and that she'll see him again.

She does have a romantic interest; she is not aromantic, but I'm going to hold that ship off for now. =)
