So i stumbled into your meantalk au and after reading what's out so far it's a lot of things i want in characters lol so thank you for sharing it! In the Lucifer: Too Late one MC comes home late--implying MC is allowed outside by themself. But what if MC just doesn't come home one day? Like, "anywhere is better than going back there" tried to disappear or maybe got in some kind of situation with (a) lesser demon/s? Obvs they'd be punished once they were found and all but I'm curious.

Yes MC is definitely allowed to go out by themself simply because everyone knows that even if they ran off they are still stuck in the Devildome and it won't be too much work to find them since most demons bow to the brothers.
Now MC obviously doesn't know this so if they were to decide to up and disappear they'd definitely lose their "protection" (really loosely used here for obvious reasons). So they would definitely get caught up in certain situations with lesser demons because for them a human in their realm is like throwing meat into a lions cage. Now say the brothers find MC being assulted by those demons they'd definitely watch at first because MC has to learn their lesson but they would pull them out if they'd go to far since MC does belong to Diavolo after all and it would fall back into them if MC kicked the bucket. After bringing MC back home Lucifer would add to what happened because the human has to learn to obey them and not the other way around even if it is just squeezing lemon juice into their wounds each time they cry or yell, though we know that Lucifer's torture ideas are endless so MC won't be sleeping anytime soon after trying to run off.
