Gets to know Jet firsthand this time, and finds that while morally dubious is fine it serves no purpose if innocent people are harmed
Finds Toph to be like the little sister he actually wanted (big bro zuko & little sister toph time yall)

-there’s a horse where I work named Lucy who HATES men
-like “bite your face off” levels of hate
-enter me, who’s been having gender thoughts but not really realizing what that means
-I’d been avoiding Lucy because I quite like having my face not bitten off thank you
-Then one day I forget that she hates men and I go into her stall with her to clean out the poo
-She Doesent Hate me but I don’t think anything about it because I don’t remember that she’s sexist

Tried to have him look more like his parents with the same hair swoop, has Mom's nose and will give him Dad's eyes (in my 2000s au Mom has bright blue eyes and Dad & Timmy have gray/blue mixed eyes) when I color it all in and tried to give him more of a 00's look.

Gay ppl getting married isn't ruining the sanctity of marriage but polys getting married sure are. Marriage is about commitment and they CLEARLY aren't capable of that
at this point I think the people who keep making "polyamory would fix this" jokes about adultery and love-triangle plots are just insane.
first of all, yes it is reasonable that people feel betrayed by adultery, they exchanged vows, adultery is a serious promise being broken. being "open and honest" about it doesn't change that.
secondly, characters being jealous of each other's affection is not going to stop once they're in that relationship. it's the same characters with the same feelings about each other as before. they'd just go from fighting over who gets full dedication to who gets the most dedication.
"oh but people do it in real life" yeah and they either still deal with those problems or don't care enough to be bothered by them. I could not imagine a less romantic scenario.
I'm gonna shout into the void
I'm anti poly. It's just an easy way to cheat. If you need a 3rd or 4th person in a relationship? It was never going to work with the two of you to start with.
I've done poly ships in the past, not denying it. But it became exhausting and made me uncomfortable. I regret my time with writing poly ships. But I'm tired of staying quiet on this.
I was raised by two parents. A mom and a dad. And that is how it should be. Two parents. When a kid expects a sibling, adopt or have one. Don't bring another kid and their whole ass parent too, it's just fucking gross.

Zutara is a ship where both are badasses but can make each other weak by: Zuko doing the "little, domestic" things, and Katara "challenging the politics of the fire nation and standing her ground". Kataang&maiko who??
Zuko is like "my wife will attend the council meeting in my stead while I take care of the children," and this is how he de-stresses. This is also how Katara de-stresses. See, the people who go on about how horrible it would be for Katara to be embroiled in political conflicts always make me roll my eyes because Katara loves nothing more than to fight for a cause. She's an extrovert, not only does she enjoy fighting, but she enjoys battles of wit as well. Zuko is the one who doesn't like confrontation (but always seems to start one anyway because he can't keep his mouth shut) and would just prefer to do domestic chores all day.
Why I don’t like Snape as someone who’s been bullied

This is something I’ve been thinking about for awhile. I’ve noticed a theme with Snapewives saying shit like “he was bullied, it was all justified” and “If you’ve been bullied then SuReLy you understand!”, and another increasingly popular one is “James was a bully, why don’t you hate him?!?”
As someone who has been bullied pretty much my entire life, I love James but despise Snape. That’s because there is a huge difference between them.
James was a bully, yes, but he matured and grew. He learned the errors of his ways and grew to be more empathetic. He grew up privileged and didn’t fully understand how hard things could be for others. But he learned, and he grew out of his childish behavior.
Snape was a grown man who literally abused children. “Oh but he was abused and bullied—“ that doesn’t justify a grown man hurting children. Nothing justifies that. It doesn’t matter what happened to him in the past, it doesn’t justify him hurting children.
So yes, as someone who has been bullied I feel more sympathy for the person who matured and learned that they were wrong rather than the person who stayed bitter and was a grown man bullying children.
Friendly reminder: Severus Snape only protected Harry because he had his mother's eyes and because he was obsessed with her in a very unhealthy way. He literally told Voldemort that he could murder James and Baby Harry if he'd spare Lily's life.
Snape abused his students on a daily basis. He verbally abused Lily, too. Calling her a mudblood.
If Dumbeldore didn't force him to become a double agent, he would have become a death eater.
He was very selfish and only ever acted in his own interests.
People really need to stop defending Severus Snape.
