I love that Anderson ships Sherl*lly. You know who ships Johnlock? Mrs Hudson. Nuff said. ;)

Frankly almost everybody on the show ships johnlock. Mycroft, Lestrade, Molly (!!!), Moriarty, Dr Frankland, Billy and Gary who own the inn in HOTB, Irene Adler, Angelo, John's ex Jeanette (who looked like Sherlock), Janine, Magnussen, Wiggins. Anderson doesn't, because he's a bit dim, apparently. And I bet Sally doesn't because she thinks Sherlock is going to chop John and keep him in the freezer. I think even Mary kinda ships johnlock. She definitely does in TEH!

These might be the same people who think Sherlock is a raging heterosexual. I have no idea what show they’re watching. Elementary maybe? LoL

You know who thinks Sherlock is heterosexual? Anderson. :/ And we know how we feel about Anderson.

I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I was a little late to the BBC Sherlock party—friends had been telling me to watch the show for years, and for years I put it off. It wasn’t that I thought I wouldn’t like it, but rather precisely because I could just tell that I would absolutely love it. I’ve always had a weakness for Sherlock Holmes, and this incarnation seemed to have all the makings of an obsession. It had been awhile since I’d gotten sucked down the wormhole of a fandom, since I’d fallen in love with a work of fiction and the characters and the world it has beguilingly built so ardently that I couldn’t let it go with just the shutting of a book or the flicking off of a television. It takes a lot of time and passion to care about something that much— I wasn’t sure if I was ready for that kind of commitment. So I put it off.

Until last summer, when I finally said fuck it, let’s do this. And promptly lost several days curled up on my couch, glued to my Netflix. And promptly lost several months glued to my computer, discovering an entire world full of other obsessed fans who were equally as smitten with the material (who had also gone a bit squirrelly from what was apparently called ‘the hiatus’, something I’m only now beginning to fully understand…damn it.) There are all sorts of interesting people on Tumblr, but I’ve found a nice niche of the Sherlock fandom that is just as engaged with and in love with this show as I am to pass the time.

The point is, I adore BBC Sherlock. It’s captivated me, and I’m so thankful for the collective dedication and creative brilliance involved in bringing this adaption of Sherlock Holmes to life onscreen every few years. It could be every ten years, and I’d still be waiting with bated breath. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
