So, Where's the official news on Tumblr deleting blogs because of their new copyright law regarding audio posts? It's rather contradicting since they post about 'keeping the internet free' all the time.. 

Anyway, if you want to delete your audio post, but you haven't tagged all of them then here's a handy link to find your audio posts: trntbl.me, just enter your username, select the song and click on the infinity logo for the url to your audio post, so you can delete it! 

Such a sad thing though. Tumblr is boring without music.

My attitude about this is the same as my attitude about Facebook's "real name" policy.

According to that policy, Facebook could disable my account unless I provided legal documents showing my name. Given that I am a trans woman with financial insecurity, I do not have such documents.

So I'm just living with the fact they could disable me if the discrepancy is noticed. Cuz it's a shit policy that I'm not going to compromise on.

Yea, it's fundamentally a different topic. My name vs me uploading something with a copyright. The former is 100% my say, and the latter is basically not at all my say.

It is once again clear that tumblr staff is not at all interested in respecting & assisting their users. The decision doesn't have to be up to them; it could be an order. The way they are going about it is still entitled and arrogant.

I am so over this shit website.

So my account could vanish any time. If you are a mutual who enjoys having contact with me, it may be wise to find another medium for it. (That isn't just Facebook, obviously.)

If the shit admin decisions are making people fear having their blogs removed for false-positives on audio copyright (such as song writers on here), that might be an indication that staff is shit and doesn't deserve their userbase.
