Frankenstein Audio Drama

Hello! We are Rhapsody Of The Exiled, an audio drama adaptation and retelling of Frankenstein Or The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley!

We are trans and neurodivergent written and directed, with a largely queer cast and crew, queer romantic, and neurodiverse storylines, and music! We can promise you a lot from our story, including a romantic Clervalstein subplot, non-binary Professor Waldman, non-binary blind hermit, Autistic William Frankenstein, neurodivergent Justine Moritz, lesbian Elizabeth and Justine, transfem voice actress for a non-binary creature, and a Professor Waldman x Professor Krempe consensual workplace relationship.

We want to use this beloved story and all its characters to explore ways in which we find ourselves isolated from the world, be it by no fault of our own, or somehow by our own hand. Looking for some short and sweet audio horrors this Halloween season? May I present you with this playlist of over 13 hours of short horror stories, all written (and sometimes narrated) by me! 🎃🎃

Included the fully voiced version of my horror novella The Hotel, from last year’s Halloween special with The Other Stories podcast!

There is a house on a hill.

Now, it is Number 17 Rosewood Court. Before, it was 1733 Rosewood. And before that, At the Cross of 17th and 33rd.

And when it all began, the house had no name at all. It simply stood. Perched and perilously alone on a bit of land upraised like a clenched fist. Echoingly empty, vacant windows lidless eyes impassively observing the untilled fields over which it had dominion. *

Things change. So many things change. But in the end, this remains. It remains.

There is a house. There has always been a house.

-- This Address Does Not Exist is an audio anthology of epistolary haunted house stories, recounting the history of the house on the hill through the correspondence of its inhabitants. We're seeking writers to contribute to this anthology.

This is an unpaid, hobby project.

We're seeking writers to contribute to this anthology, which draws inspiration from both new and classic haunted house stories in which the house itself is haunted, rather than the individuals involved.

We're looking for epistolary stories (diaries, journals, letters, emails, texts, etc,) centered on someone who lives in the house at different points in its existence (roughly 1750s through today.)

People new to audio drama writing are very welcome.

Ok just experienced one of my favorite pieces of internet horror I have found in a while

This here is a playlist of original tracks creating an unfiction/ARG narrative about a different version of animal crossing wild world. Gonna keep it as unspoiler-y as possible so just a few notes.

1. Cw for unsettling audio, that’s its primary medium of horror

2. Read the descriptions! They range in length and detail but will usually give additional context for where and when the track supposedly plays

3. Most videos are just audio but quite a few have important text or even images you do not want to miss

4. Check out the comment section if you want to see people playing into the narrative, just note of course people have different ideas of the story so nothing that’s being said is true to the intended narritve

anyone else judge audio drama by how overacted the voices are in the first ten minutes of the pilot? and how good the music is? tempted to listen to malevolent next bc it seems like the natural next step after magnus archives and the white vault but… the advertisement had corny music so im hesitant. that’s my whole reason.
