The thing about Fitz and Beloved which I think is so truly charming is a part of what Hobb is often great at (perhaps more so with relationships she doesn’t Fully or solely mean to be romantic) where I really really do believe how much they just LIKE each other. They like being around each other, they enjoy what the other has to say, they think of specific things and memories about each other fondly, they feel pleased by the mere presence of the other in tangible ways on top of their cosmic soul bond connection. They laugh together!!!!
