Hi! I was wondering, if it an autistic thing to absolutely despise a certain song? For as long as I can remember, I’ve absolutely hated the Banana Splits theme song. Anytime that show came on, I’d run to my room, screaming and crying. Nowadays, it makes me really mad when I hear it. And I have no clue why!

Oh definitely! I’ve totally had this happen. Something in that song, whatever it is, is a Bad Sound for you, and it sounds like it’s so awful that it sends you into an almost immediate sensory overload. I’ve absolutely had this happen.
In fact, the song that plays in Animal Crossing from 5-6pm does this to me. I cannot listen to this song, it makes me want to tear my ears off. So if I want to play Animal Crossing at this time, I either buy a ticket to fly to an island for the hour, or I have actually put speakers all around the paths on my island which play music I like to protect me.
It’s so bad that my partner has actually named it “Bad Song Hour”, and if it’s between 5 and 6pm and I say “I feel like playing Animal Crossing” he’ll remind me “Okay, but it’s Bad Song Hour.” and then I remember to put the TV on mute first, or wait until 6 to play.
So yes, you absolutely can have Bad Sound Input from a song, to the point that it’s so horrible you would meltdown nearly immediately from listening to it.
As to why certain sensory inputs are Bad, that’s a mystery. It’s just part of autism. For me, leather is a Bad Texture, crackling plastic bags are Bad Sound, and fish is a Bad Taste. For another autistic person, they have other Bad Inputs that are different. There doesn’t seem to be any reason why a brain picks one or another, but almost all autistics deal with this, so you’re not alone at all.
