“Welcome Gillion” - Strider
I mentioned this on another post of mine, but I wanted to post this at the beginning of my Gillion Tidestrider speed paint. Unfortunately, the audio did not fit well with what was being drawn; that being a casual sitting on the deck of The Albatross (the drawing), and the intense vibe of a concrete hall (the audio). To be fair, I made reactively right after Charlie did something as Gillion. I think it was something that had to do with him introducing himself as The One, Champion of The Under Sea-- so on, and so forth, but i could be wrong.
Note: If anyone want to download and use this audio for anything, feel free! Just tag me in it, cause I would be interested in seeing it!

Speaking of his pleasure at being cast in such an iconic role, Armitage said “Rassilon is one of those defining spines of this lore. I’ve watched enough sci-fi to know that there has to be an omnipotent being that has a self-aggrandising mental state which puts him above everybody else, like a malevolent, maniacal dictator.
“I grew up with Doctor Who,” he remembers, “The Daleks and the Cybermen were definitely my ‘hiding behind the sofa’ baddies. But I loved being frightened. Tom Baker was my Doctor Who. He had that voice. In a way, what I have tried to do with Rassilon is a little bit Tom Baker-esque.”
Richard performs Rassilon in Big Finish’s Gallifrey: Time War.
Listen to this episode from Modern Love on Spotify. Love thrives on good communication. It can take many forms -- but what happens when you suddenly lose what was once your primary means of communication? Pedro Pascal ("King Lear," "Game of Thrones") reads Jamison's essay. Modern Love is brought to you by COUPLES THERAPY, a new Showtime docu-series following four couples during their weekly sessions with a world-class therapist. It’s a raw and intimate peek into the hidden world of other people’s relationships. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJbWAWnWuio
Just gonna say, give this a listen. I know Pedro has said that he can never be a voice actor but I will have to go against his words and say he's wrong. I’ve read Jamison’s essay before, but the way Pedro read the words made me tear up, and reminded me how unique this piece is.
Recently I was in a relationship where after half a year of dating, the communication lapsed and we broke up. It reminded me of that because we were long distance, though shared nothing of the same circumstance, it allowed me to remember the good moments. Anyway sorry for the rant, gonna just leave this here.
Sound Designer Seeking Opportunities
Hey yo, I’d super love to get even more into sound design projects for other people’s projects, animations, animatics, etc etc!! If you’re an animator, artist, or other type of content creator who doesn’t have much of a grip on sound design or audio in general, hit me up! I’d like to see if we could work together! You can check out an array of my work on my YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/user/cellochicita/. :)
