Bio (Minimum one paragraph): Kurt Hummel has a lot on his mind and only a little bit of room to let it out. He is currently in the process of coming out of the closet publicly, even though he has the support of his dad and friends. He has a desire to get in the spotlight, but feels both outshined by Rachel, and wary about his dad's feelings. He currently has a crush on Finn, as he's the first guy, a jock at that, to ever be nice to him. When he's not thinking about glee club, he throws his passion into fashion, wearing a very unique wardrobe to go with it. Kurt is a proud person who cares about those close to him. However, he can come off as cold and distant, he knows how easy it is to lose someone, after all.
Writing sample (minimum two paragraphs in character):
Kurt had slept in a bit longer than he'd intended to. It was nearly noon when he actually got out of bed. He had hoped sleeping it off would quell the rage in him, but he was completely infuriated. Kurt tried not to keep replaying the scene over and over, but he couldn't help it. It was in the middle of the choir room after a serenade (which, of course, focused all of the attention on himself) with a ring that was clearly meant for a woman.
Even reliving the memory was seen in red. What gave Blaine the deluded idea that it was okay to propose to him? They weren't even together! He shook it off, trying to make up an excuse for him. He meant well, it's just his personality... And part of him really wanted someone to comfort him, but another just didn't want to deal with anyone. Not a single person validated his feelings; Tina went on about what he was missing out on, the new kids who only knew Blaine called him all sorts of names, even Rachel thought the concept was 'sweet'. Did no one understand why he was so upset over this? Did Blaine not tell them the whole story?
He was pulled from his thoughts by his dad knocking on the door. "You got company, kiddo. Don't worry, this one doesn't have a ring," Burt said. Kurt sighed and nodded, silently praying it wasn't someone about to speak the praises of glorious Blaine. "Send them in"
