Stopped by the comic shop today because the wait is finally over!! WicDiv 1923 featuring @audkoch’s gorgeous artwork. I got to the store a bit after noon and snagged the last copy~

UM HI, super curious about "murder lovebirds Spideytorch, or, What If? Uncle Ben’s Death Didn’t Change Peter"? Also I've never said this, but just: thank you so much for all of the fic and commentary and this insane knowledge of canon & continuity. You are an amazing resource, and "Say You Will, Say You Won't" will always remain one of favorite SpideyTorch fics!

Murder Lovebirds, or, What If? Uncle Ben’s Death Didn’t Change Peter is half @teenbrigade‘s, since it was hatched in DMs, but basically it involves a) Peter being entirely out for himself and becoming a baby Kingpin-figure because if you’ve got the power but no responsibility, what else do you do but take what you think you deserve? and b) Johnny having stayed on Earth while the other three went to space, as any sensible version would have a 16yo do, only for the other three to die in space. Somehow, they get married. Murder (initially to save Peter’s life) ensues. They’re terribly maladjusted but in love! This is the short version but it’s the 4th already where I am and the party has started. What’s important is Johnny mopping someone else’s blood from Peter’s face while Peter’s hands loosely grip his waist.

By the way, I saw your art in Ultimates2! Congratulations!
