TODAY IN GINNY! - July 4 - Audrey Scott

I worked on one film featuring Virginia Weidler. I worked on THE WOMEN (1939) and was most likely directly in camera range with Virginia.

While we worked together with the cameras rolling, you'd never know I was in the film. My specialty was riding horses.

Other actresses I worked with include Bette Davis, Ida Lupino, Rosalind Russell, Virginia Bruce, Virginia Mayo, Jeannette MacDonald. When they couldn't ride, I did their riding. In film after film.

I wrote a book about my days in Hollywood. My book was called, "I Was a Hollywood Stunt Girl."

Who am I? I am Hollywood stunt rider Audrey Scott and I was Norma Shearer's riding double in THE WOMEN. I was born on this date in 1914. I also really resent that IMDb has a photo of Audrey P. Scott in my place.

The Maryland Republican Party finds itself without an attorney general candidate on February 21. The filing deadline is February 25 at 9 p.m.

Previously, Richard Douglas had been considering a bid for attorney general as a Republican and ultimately decided not to run. Democrats running include Aisha Braveboy, Jon Cardin, Bill Frick, and Brian Frosh.
