Season Announcement Wednesday

Hello and happy Hump Day, to you all! This week’s highlighted season is one of the Bay Area’s finest in professional theatre. They have the ambition and abilities to challenge audiences with daring titles, both in musical and straight play form. Personally, they have a special place in my audience legacy as they were the location for my 700th show! Let’s take a peek at the, already in-progress 2019/2020 season at San Jose Stage Company!

Description: San Jose Stage Company has been a destination for my enthusiastic audience endeavors, ever since I was in high school and I saw their production of Inherit the Wind. Since then, I have had the pleasure of seeing their productions of Red, White, and Tuna; The Toxic Avenger; Sweeney Todd; and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. As they celebrate their 37th season, do make it a point to add a date night out at San Jose Stage, you will be thoroughly entertained, believe me!

Quem ainda não assistiu o filme August: Osage County (Álbum de Família)? Benedict teve um papel relativamente pequeno neste filme de 2013, mas foi de partir corações. August: Osage County é uma adaptação da peça homônima de (2007), escrita pelo ator e dramaturgo Tracy Letts. A peça foi vencedora de vários prêmios, incluindo um Pulitzer e um Tony. Curiosidade: Foi Tracy Letts quem adaptou o roteiro para o cinema.
