This move is a tri-planar cornucopia of goodness: squatting in the sagittal plane, resisting rotation in the transverse plane and resisting side bending in the frontal plane. Notice the Pallof style press out at the bottom range (lengthening the lever arm and decreasing the mechanical advantage: ie, making it hard as heck!)
