it’s late at night, hours after he first began feeling empty, disconnected, wrong. like his bond with cassie was severed all over again, except somehow this felt even more personal. having quickly grown tired of knocking on the warlock’s front door, he reached for the knob and — well, he tried to yank it clean off the wood, but he couldn’t. he wasn’t strong enough anymore. “august,” huffed ben, knocking again, “august, open up. i’ve got a problem.”

“ august NO ! ” alex protested as soon as the warlock literally took her feet off the ground. “ that wasn’t what i meant when i said i was tired i just wanted to go home ! can you put me down ? i still have a small reputation that i need to protect. ”
"yeah, i know this is sudden but can i hide for an hour or two here?” lukas asked the moment the door was open and he was met by the warlock, not even giving the other the time to say anything. “i’m trying to hide from elena because i’m pretty sure she is out for my blood since i ate the brownies that obviously weren’t for me.” he snorted, giving a small shrug when he finished talking. “by the way, it’s nice to see you back.” @augustzhao

who is more excited for halloween? julian. which lukas finds extremely endearing and and kinda makes him looks foward to it.
who gives the best gifts? lukas, mostly because whenever he is out and sees something he thinks julian would like you can bet he’s gonna buy it. (but if u ask lukas he’d say julian ‘cause he is biased).
who sings along to the radio the loudest? both, mostly when lukas is making food for himself and julian helps him. they don’t sing too loudly tho.
who actually finishes a book they’ve started? is it a comic book? then julian. is it a normal book? then probably both.
who falls asleep during a movie? 100% lukas. he doesn’t do it on purpose but he loves to watch movies either all snuggled up or with his head on julian’s lap and the boy is just so comfortable that ultimately he ends up falling asleep.
who plans a surprise getaway vacation? lukas tries a few times but his plans are always ruined by duy calls. until he finally manages to go through with it.
who comes home with useless decorative knick knacks for the house every single day? lukas, why no one has stopped him yet? julian probably find it cute, we’ll talk again after he comes back with a pink flamingo decoration or something.
who takes more pictures? they both do. lukas probably have an album in his phone full of photos he took of julian unaware of it, he is sure julian doesn’t know about the album but let’s be honest, he probably does.
who likes baths? who likes showers? shower for both. but they do take the occasional very relaxing bath together, which almost always end up with bubbles everywhere but that’s another story.
who keeps a weekly planner? neither, but they do marks important things on the calendar.
who actually watches the discovery channel? julian. lukas tries to watch it with him but he finds looking at julian more interesting.
who brings up having kids first? lukas blurts it out at the most random of time after realizing that that is it, and he wants to expand the family, they probably already have at least a dog by then.
who fixes things around the house when they break? lukas when he knows how to. sometimes julian too.
who leaves their dirty towels on the floor? julian and lukas always complains about it but he still pick ‘em up every time (and sometimes throw them at him too).
who makes the coffee in the morning? depends on who gets up first. and if they leave the bed before noon.
who gets jealous over very petty things? at some extend both but they show it in different ways.
who exercises more? lukas, given his job and everything.
who starts listening to christmas music in october? neither because they are decent people and wait till november to listen to christmas songs.
who actually reads the newspaper? neither? julian probably checks the news online, though.
