maybe this will be useful to other folks, but here's a collage of reference material from bird wings for folks like me who are trying to improve their observation skills for artwork reasons, or whatever else you might find this useful for.

I'm officially moved into my new place! Yippee, here's my bedroom. I need a head board for my bed, a narrow book case for under the other window by said bed, a carpet panel for under my arm chair, and a little bit more yellow lights to connect over the closet.
Closeups:
i love drawing and posting whatever I want, it's so fun, you never know what you're going to get... sometimes it'll be borderline explicit sexy alien nonsense and other times it'll be adorable sonic oc's.
Draw whatever you want forever, it's your one life. Forget about curating for the illusion of a viewer that only exists inside your head, go crazy and draw what your heart desires and whoever doesn't like it can close their eyes.
so glad drawing is fun again!!! I love drawing so much. Here is the things I did to help me love art once more:
Banned myself from easy sources of dopamine until I can trust myself to use my time wisely (gaming primarily, gaming is easy dopamine. Art is dopamine you have to work for.)
Every time I am enjoying drawing and in the flow, I take a break so I'm left craving art. You want to feel like you want to keep going, and stop for an hour, to re-train yourself to desire the process.
I stop drawing at 9-10 pm each night, to aid in the previous point.
I started doing more studies of things that challenged me. If it feels frustrating and like you're solving a puzzle, that's good. You're thinking.
When studying difficult subjects, I only do a little bit at a time each morning or each night, for just 30 mins to an hour. Pace yourself.
I'm still not 100% with my creative muse, I still have difficult days, but overall art is so much more enjoyable now and I love drawing and prefer drawing to all other forms of entertainment.
these shapes are crazy dude... I know why you're like that but dang
did a little bob-ross paint along for fun with digital art with friends, it was fun and also funny
posting this opinion I have here cause I've been thinking hard about how the modern internet has damaged the creative sphere and harmed people's relationship with their own work
sunset on lake superior, the waves were calm and the surface was reflective like a silvery blue mirror, capturing the pastel pale pinks and oranges from the sky just after sundown
