Sentiments on S2 of Anne with an E

Im probably gonna ramble, but can I just say how wonderfully written this was, how complex the characters are, showing the rawness of human emotion.

Anne has proven to be the imaginative and intelligent dork she is, but time and time she forgets the consequences of her word, hurting her friends and those who she cherish. Nonetheless, she eventually finds a way to make each mistake right, furthering the love we have for her. Anne continues to traverse the road to her teenage years, grasping the concepts of love *cough cough Gilbert* of what she wants to do, and of what she dreams to be. Anne at the end of the season, has matured so much, making us all proud!!

Marilla and Mathew, ah yes, of those who hold unyealding love for our little dork. I love them both so much, and how having Anne has changed the way they see and react to things. Mathew being more vocal, Marilla embracing the coming of the new, Marilla finally speaking her mind to Rachel. (they resolve it either ways ) They’ve grown so much this season and I just can’t comprehend all the happiness it brings me ( and the tears ) to see how far they would go for their little girl.

Jerry, this adorable french boi, finally having the passion to learn. Each scene with him trying to learn how to read had my heart melting, I HOPE SO MUCH FOR HIM HE IS SO PRECIOUS. Also, his interactions with Anne (yes the handwritten christmas letter, bless this boi) and his gestures to make her happy *melts*

Next is the ever loyal bossom friend, beloved Diana, I JUST SHIP HER WITH ANNE SO MUCH THESE TWO MAKE ME WEAK, she’s such a strong girl. I love Diana for providing aunt Jo the support she needs ( after having to think about what the relationship meant, eventually grasping and embracing the truth it holds ) I love Diana for accepting Anne, and for loving her, I honestly would give my life for a friend like her. So precious *hearteyes*

Ok so for Cole I— JUST LOVE THIS ARTISTIC BOY SO MUCH I WAS ROOTING FOR YOU, AND YOU MADE ME PROUD. THAT WAS ONE HUGE STEP AND YOU CLAIMED IT, also I love you and Anne together IM SO CONFLICTED but of course I respect and accept your orientation, and I’m proud of you, and will forever be.

Gilbert oOf this boy. I grow to love you more and more, your respect for everybody, your devotion to studies, your kindness, your smarts, and everything that is you and you alone. I’m excited to see where you’re headed in the seasons to come, to see how you and *cough cough* anne end up ooF, I just love you, you with Anne, you with our precious Bash. Oh how I love how you made him your family, despite the prejudice of those around you. This makes me so proud, so happy, so content I wanna be Anne ooF OH AND COLE POINTING OUT TO ANNE HOW APPARENT YOUR AFFECTIONS FOR ANNE ARE IS HILARIOUS, ADORABLE ASNNXNSKC

For Bash this man has gone through so much, and triumphed over them AND NOW HE’S MARRIED, PARTNERS WITH OUR BOY GIL, AND A HAPPY FREE MAN!! I love how this was explored in the story, showing us how it was for people of color, and of the things they had to go through. I have so much respect for them, they deserve all the good things in this world!!

Aunt Jo is a favorite as well as Ms. Stacy, two empowered women, strong and unyeilding. I JUST LOVE THEM BOTH OKAY, WITH A BURNING INTENSITY. I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING THEM IN THE SEASONS TO COME!!

All in all, as I’ve said, Anne with an E is certainly a masterpiece. It gets better with each episode, and this season has given me so much hope and excitement for what is to come. IM HONESTLY ANGRY AT MYSELF FOR FINISHING EVERYTHING IN A DAY

I NEED MY SEASON 3!! I NEED TO SEE MY CHILDREN THRIVING AND GOING TO COLLEGE AND GROWING UP AND FALLING IN LOVE!! I NEED TO SEE COLE BLOSSOM INTO A FURTHERMORE AMAZING ARTIST, I NEED TO SEE GILBERT AND ANNE COMPETE WITH EACHOTHER AND REACH FOR THEIR DREAMS AND YA KNOW GET MARRIED!! I WANNA SEE JERRY STUDY, DIANE FIND HERSELF A DREAM TO PURSUE, AS WELL AS BILLY GETTING A REDEMPTION ARC? HONESTLY I WANNA SEE EVEYBODYS STORY UNFOLD

A year ago when I returned home I never realized how much my life would be changing. The truth of the matter is even though #COMPTON is always in my heart I wasn't sure if I was ready to return in fact I was almost certain I wasn't. I had so many things in the works I thought and these things would not come to fruition without my being hands-on in creating. So I bucked and fought the process of coming home like I normally do in life at times. But truthfully to return home has been the most honest thing that I have ever done. She has a strong support group and that's not just me #auntJo #auntielynette @hair_is_my_story all play huge parts in helping me to give her the best sense of normalcy we can. To care for #mamacuz is at times challenging but it's always simple because I know without a doubt what my parents mean to me. So now it's time to turn the tides and not only continue what I'm doing in my household but also learn more techniques in delivery and caring so that I can continue making her as comfortable as the disease becomes even more challenging to manage. So with that said I will be taking you on a 7 day trip with us.... Do you think you can handle the pressure?? In sure it will be comedic and tragic all at the same time but it's #reallifeshit so here we go.....
