Aunty Watson, Anti-Watson
To answer questions in the tags about Sherlock calling Kitty “the Anti-Watson”: I think many are wondering what he meant. My take on it is the writers reiterating how they viewed Kitty when she first appeared in Season 3. One of the writers said something like, Kitty was more Sherlock than Sherlock. I think he meant impatient, volatile, vengeful, whereas Joan was the opposite; calm, collected, professional (for the most part). I’m not sure if bringing up “the Anti-Watson” label in S5x15 is meant to stir up some tension between Joan and Kitty or not.
