It just hit me that two of the three soldier characters I've come to like are brown haired, brown eyed, THICC dudes who have some kind of metal on their being and have a broken mental state. It's really weird.

Bucky Barnes is literally just soldier who had his mind wiped after he presumably 'died', became evil and got a cool arm, tried to kill his friend but friend made him remember they were friends and is later reformed.

Meanwhile-

Paladin Danse is an armoured soldier who trusts some rando who comes to aid him and his team, joins up with them for awhile and then has to deal with his whole world being flipped upsidedown when it's revealed he is what he hates.

Basically, I have a thing for broken dudes and it's very rare they are soldiers. This is something that happens across all of my fandoms. I didn't count Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7 because he technically never got SOLDIER Rank. Yeah there was also Zack Fair, but he wasn't broken like the two above and yes he's the third soldier character I like. I've made the same comparison with a lot of my other favorite characters usually being the ones that die.

#1 Raziel Splash Art! This is the second piece for a series of character illustrations I'll be doing! If you saw Rose's splash art, yeah it's basically the same idea but with my seraph OC! :D

#2 Duran redesign! Still on the early stages- I wanna do a lot of adjustments for this steampunk italian man. Defs not secretly royalty. Nope. Eventually I'll make a proper splash art illustration with him too. (may happen sooner knowing I need to have his whole look finalized for a thingy i'm working on)

#3 Rose's transformation!? Title says it all :) Eventually I'll make an illustration about this <3

#4 SS Lear illustration! Remember that one SS design for Lear myself and Reshi did that got featured in that pokemagma session? The one I did that big panel ? So like- I actually started this drawing live on my twitch channel....a few months ago. Oof. I really should get back to streaming. Folk really wanted me to draw another lear illustration, and this turned out to be a full on team piece for the short king! Maybe i'll readjust some things knowing this is still on the sketch phase. ...and honestly as I look at this...maybe I could make this a good illustration for something else I'm working on. #5 Evolve - A Fan-Made Arceus Arc Fic! "WHAT!? AURA YOU CAN WRITE?!" Well- I am writing here aren't I? /j Ok, jokes aside, this is a rather self-indulgent story that even I'm not sure it will be thrown out into the public for everyone to see. Though...I'm sure many would shake me and rattle me to publish this in the end lmao. This is inspired by Evolve, a song that I felt it was fitting for the entire plot of this fic. The reason I call it self-indulgent is that- it involves my dear OC, Rose! ...well, here she's called Kayzi. To make a long story I wish to eventually tell to everyone short: that's her actual name, Rose is just a nickname. The events in this fic take place during a time where she knows her real name. She has a rivalry/friendship with Lear in the Pokemon AU, and this idea has been on my brain for a while cuz man i enjoy their dynamic okay!?

Either way, if you want me to actually consider posting this fic, fight me in my inbox or something idk lmao- unless you're in the lear fanclub server or a pal of mine- you can throw hands with me in discord instead so i can stop feeling embarrassed about my writing.
