one thing that i think the p5 fandom (and even akechi fans) forget too often is that robin hood and loki, despite being obvious contrasts and borderline contradictions in many ways, are both born from akechi’s heart and are both fundamental parts of who he is.
there is a REASON why he awakened to both at the same time (as per word of god). there is a REASON why hereward is explicitly shown to be a fusion of rh and loki and is the only third tier awakening to be depicted this way. [eta i was corrected on this in the rbs lol i think i had the second awakening cutscenes in my head]. you cannot discount either persona. robin hood is not a false persona, the concept of a false persona is oxymoronic. loki has always been a part of him in the same way that robin hood has.
neither one of these personas are truer than the other. you can only understand akechi’s heart through the synthesis of the two. (get it because thesis and antithesis- [GUNSHOT])
and that goes for akechi himself too!!! all of the masks he wields to deceive still hold truths in them. none of them are his “true self”, not even in the third semester, but by looking at them all together we can see what his true self might be.
