oh WOW your cupid Percy drawing is GORGEOUS! And if you have the time, I want to know how can Newt see Percy? The idea that Cupid Percival would sacrifice his wings and status for love is so so so great oh my gosh he’s really a cupid for finding love for himself ❤️

AaAAhhh thank you!! I thought that maybe Newt’s mother or father was a cupid themself, so Newt is born with the ability to see things that are hidden to the human eye. But his ability isn’t very pronounced. He can only see Percival because the cupid’s presence was strong; and I think it is mostly Percival’s growing emotions that have made Newt aware of him…

I have to admit I haven’t really thought about the reason of Newt’s perceptive nature, now that you mentioned it. :’D
