I do appreciate having this wind down, but I think Jailbreak still holds a very special place as a finale. From what I understand, either Log Date was actually meant to be the season 3 premiere, or Full Disclosure was meant to be the actual season 1 finale, I can’t recall (or maybe I’m totally wrong); either way, I don’t know that we’ll get a season finale to top Jailbreak, really. Jailbreak is not my favorite episode, but damn if it wasn’t a near perfect episode.

Edit: Oh! Karaoke...no. No, let’s not do that. Well, actually, I’m happy to doing a karaoke night - but I am not singing, no way, no how.

Exactly! Although I waste plenty of time doing similarly unproductive stuff I am glad to hear that I’m not alone!

Hrm, interesting! I’ll keep this in mind moving forward. I’m still not entirely convinced Rose isn’t...something, but if it’s coming from the creators, I’ll have to acknowledge it.

I think it’s fun to try to find meaning in things - the human mind tends to find patterns where none may exist and all - but it’s also worth understanding that any meaning you ascribe to something may not be intentional, and just because you catch on to a pattern doesn’t mean something won’t come along to completely break it.

I love seeing how different people interpret the same scene, and I also love how any of your interpretations could be correct. The idea that this is meant to mirror a child dealing with separating parents is just as likely as your point - and either, neither, or both could be correct. I like this take on it, though!

I didn’t think it was a bad episode by any means, I just felt the trope was a little predictable. You’re right, though - they do make a good point to keep things clear, and I do appreciate that Jamie still didn’t get that chance in the end. Considering this is meant to be a children’s show, I can see it doing good things on that end.
