I’m a bit late but I really want to reply to these, as I honestly didn’t expect much interest to the mod considering all the versions already out there!

@moocha-muses​ it’s so cute! I’d totally trust the judgement of my pets over my own. All credit to Midge for the original replacement!

@itsdiamondeyesuniverse I’m very glad you like them! I didn’t initially even plan replacing the icons, but the original TS2 ones kinda look like there was several different graphics designers with various level of interest making them and adding custom ones to that soap wasn’t going to make the situation any better, so my hand slipped :’D

Exactly! Although I waste plenty of time doing similarly unproductive stuff I am glad to hear that I’m not alone!

Hrm, interesting! I’ll keep this in mind moving forward. I’m still not entirely convinced Rose isn’t...something, but if it’s coming from the creators, I’ll have to acknowledge it.

I think it’s fun to try to find meaning in things - the human mind tends to find patterns where none may exist and all - but it’s also worth understanding that any meaning you ascribe to something may not be intentional, and just because you catch on to a pattern doesn’t mean something won’t come along to completely break it.

I love seeing how different people interpret the same scene, and I also love how any of your interpretations could be correct. The idea that this is meant to mirror a child dealing with separating parents is just as likely as your point - and either, neither, or both could be correct. I like this take on it, though!
