This morning one of my back burner fics kicked me in the ass, actually. It’s...well it’s a weird one. It’s like a Steampunk Roman AU? Basically Clint was born deaf into a decently well off family, but asshole father will do anything to get rid of him because it’s bad for reputation. And so he is fobbed off on Army General Frank Castle who isn’t really an asshole to kids and thus treats him well and trains him to fight when he sees he has potential. And well...A LOT MORE HAPPENS AFTER THAT.

It becomes a WinterHawk eventually, but oh man...it’s gonna be long. XD
