1. Alice

Again, Alice knocked it out of the park this week! I could see her use it as a portrait or hell someone drawing this, it’s just amazing. It looks like a 1880s artpiece from Europe! I love her dreamy expression and despite the open mouth, the shot isn’t ruined because it adds to the more dreamy vibe of the shot. I love the soft look in her eyes and look at the side instead of the camera. It adds such a dreamy elegant vibe to the shot. Anyone else would look vacant with that look but Alice made it work because of her look and the expression! Plus, I really like the new hair color. I did prefer the natural looking orange hair she had but the vibrant red is still a great look on her. Alice continues her streak!

2. Anika

Anika just looks straight up beautiful here. Her bone structure is taken amazingly here. Her cheekbones especially look beautiful here and I like the simple pose of her head behind her shoulder. Even with that, you can still tell that she has a long neck and is extending to the heavens. Her face is also great as well. I love the happiness in her eyes, the color of them especially look great. I also like the smirk she’s doing as well. It adds a pep to the shot and makes the shot stand out more as the result. Anika’s shot is apparently pretty hated by some people but I love this shot!

Also just going to quote Anika when she found out about her makeover, she was terrified and shaking out of her boots and then in the thickest accent I’ve ever seen on the show

“RED! Didn’t expect that”, she’s adorable.

3. Steph F

Steph F is really trying her hardness here to not be cute and hey, she did her best! I mostly love the attitude and moodiness of the shot. She’s usually a preppy happy girl all the time (I'll highlight a moment where she came to Alice to give her a hug when everyone else ignored her, very cute!) so to see her out of her comfort zone is a nice touch. The one eye that’s showing is so intense as well, it pierces the camera and despite not looking directly at the camera, there’s still a piercing angle to the lens. Her features also look great here and despite me not liking her makeover, it looks good here. Steph F’s improvement is impressive to watch since she's made her best shot to date.

4. Sophie

Sophie has been struggling with her face so finally when it comes a beauty shot, she gets her shit together. She executed the head over the shoulder much better than Anika. Her hair also looks sick here as well, her makeover was pretty subtle but helps make her stand out more. Her bone structure looks great here as well (those cheekbones). I kinda like the bounce of the shot, with her mouth open and the eyes to the side as well. There's not much to say since Sophie was finally able to apply her unique beauty onto the camera. Also, FRECKLES! Sophie finally made a good photo after 2 weeks of disappointing me.

5. Jane

My top 5 did the best of the week by far and 3-5 can go either way for me depending on the day. Jane was struggling during this shoot so I'm shocked that she was even able to get this shot. The photographer giving her advice to think of someone she loved was genius since it finally mustered a good shot out of her. I adore her face here mostly. Her neck is being stretched to the high heavens and the longing expression on her face is so lovely. It’s finally rid of the stinkface and now the dreamy expression is great from her. Her eyes longingly looking into the horizon is beautiful and even the slightly open mouth works for me. Jane was able to bounce on her potential after 2 duds.

6. Jordan

Jordan was struggling on set due to eating some blueberries before a beauty shoot, which really screwed with her confidence. I do think the judges hated on the shot a bit too much and that Jonathan treated her like trash over nothing. Not, not saying it’s good, it’s just meh to forgettable. Her face looks like a fan is being blown onto her face too hard and the shoulder coming out looks like it’s about to pop off, but her features look fine. I like the shape of her eyes plus the color of them and her bone structure in general looks good, though antmrankingskd were spot on on saying that her features look somewhat rodent like. Jordan’s B2 was harsh though a good learning experience for her.

7. Steph H

Steph H was trying to go for fierce but ends up looking tired instead. I think it’s the way she angled her head down, hiding some of her chin and making her bone structure look weird. I know she’s going for more fierce and intense in the eyes but it looks more like she’s about to fall asleep. Her expression is dead as well and I kinda wished she didn’t tilt her head all the way down since she seemed to be doing well on set. I do like the color of the eyes and the stripped back hair without those 2000s bangs is a great look on her but that’s all I can say for praise. After her great 2 week start, Steph H slowed down for me here.

8. Kara

Kara was not doing well on set and it shows here. She was too smiley on set, which didn’t fit the assignment given to her, thus why this shot was chosen. I do think there were better shots from the set but it wouldn't had saved her shot for me. Her head is tilted far too to the right so her bone structure doesn’t look as good and the lower half of the shot is tense. She’s showing off her teeth too much and the snarl she’s trying to do isn’t working either. Her eyes are also very dead and we can see right through her nose. Kara’s elimination was deserved, she was forgotten by pretty much everyone and added nothing new.
