Mystery Road: Origin (2022)

🎬Follows Jay Swan, a young officer who arrives at his new station in the town where his estranged father lives, as does the woman who will change his life forever, Mary.

📝Origin story of Detective Jay Swan from the 'Mystery Road' series. Those series are absolutely brilliant and this one is just as incredible. It's a slow burner and the cast and characters feel authentic. It's truly a work of art and I highly recommend it. I really like Mark Coles Smith, he really looks like a young Jay Swan.

I hope they make more series with him. Definitely check it out if you enjoyed the other in the series and even if you haven't seen them, it is a good one to watch first.

It's original story and very engaging. I loved it.

A group of Australian and American analysts work together to keep one of the world's most important joint intelligence facilities, Pine Gap, secure and stable.

📝 Without the risk of sounding like a broken record, I have found yet another awesome Aussie production!

This is a contemporary thriller and with the recent Australia, UK and US submarine deal, this felt like it was written right after that story came out! It's all about the tensions in Asia and I thought it was a thought provoking and engaging thriller. Definitely check it out!

Great seeing some of the cast of Mystery Road too. Alice Springs looks like a very beautiful town.
