listen,, media is 100% just an art form and is therefore open to interpretation

like i know the spn fandom is a lil obsessed with knowing the original script and exactly what was originally planned bc it supposedly changes things (cough cough misha only being in like four episodes)

BUT!! the final production,, the canon shit we see in the show isn’t even like, the og, ya know? like we know from the ghostfacers episode that the boys swear all the fucking time, but in-show they usually don’t. we, as the audience, can headcanon whatever the fuck we want and no one can tell us we’re Wrong bc nothing can be Proved.

like this isn’t even strictly related to casdean or deanbenny or anything, just the whole damn thing can be interpreted, and especially bc we don’t see the domestic side of their lives. like you’re telling me Dean “have some pride” Winchester didn’t wash his bedsheets with scented laundry detergent? bitch i think not that man LOVED his room and he wanted it to Smell Nice.

every time cas got a new trench coat? dean saw it in the store and got it for him bc “you’ve had that one way too long”

as a teen dean DID sell his body to get enough money to keep sam safe and happy and he’s still working through that trauma in order to accept his feelings for cas

like,, these things are just True for me. if i asked the writers, the producers, the actors, they’d probably all shoot me down, but i would Still Believe it. bc when you make a piece of media you are putting it out into the world and you can’t control the way it is perceived. this show has given me so much and i refuse to let the finale anyone take these characters and the arcs i think they should have had away from me
