are you from Australia? What rink do you teach at, starting lessons at o'brien arena soon but I've been practicing lots over the holidays and can do swizzles and skate backwards :0 (YouTube tutorials are very helpful) :):)
Hi, yes I am from Australia (AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE) and I teach at the Sydney Ice Arena. I have been down to Melbourne and skated at the O’brien group arena (the competition rink is absolutely incredible) the people are so nice there and I made friends with a few of the national skaters.
It’s great that you can do swizzles because I find that they are the element my beginner students find most difficult (well swizzles and wiggles and snowplough stops).
Good luck on your adventure and who knows maybe I’ll run into you the next time I’m down in Melbourne.
